- <> I have been using Tin on my Amiga to read news occasionaly. When I try to
- <> use the respond by email feature, I get errors. It does not really say in
- <> the Tin docs, what mail transport it uses. My SLIP account uses smtp and
- <> nntp. How to I set that up to work with Tin? I have the NNTPSERVER
- <> variable set and can read and respond fine otherwise. Just the email reply
- <> doesn't work. Thanks!
-
- You need one other variable set:
-
- setenv TIN_MAIL amitcp:bin/SMTPpost
-
- I set mine in my UpNet script, but you can do it from
- another place if so desired. Let me know how it works out.
- If it still gives you problems then I'll check some more
- things in my setup.
